Local Spotlight: What’s new in Downtown Miami?

Intelligent Design has been located in the heart of Downtown Miami since 2013, when we made the move from North Miami. We knew Downtown was going to be great one day, and we wanted to be right in the middle of it.
It’s been happening, slowly but surely, and it appears we’re getting ready to have a major growth spurt.
Our friends over at Downtown News have written an article updating everyone on what’s been happening this past year Downtown, and what we can look forward to in the near future.
A few of the highlights since last year include:

The Miami Film Festival moved its home base to Downtown Miami.

A much-delayed State of Florida $500,000 preservation grant was approved to begin planning for façade restoration of the historic Olympia Theater.

Last December, “Miami Art Week in the Flagler District”, positioned Downtown Miami as the newest art destination with 10 days of programming in more than 20 venues during Art Basel/Art Week.

Several new businesses opened in and around the Flagler District, including much needed restaurants and entertainment venues.
